We research and shape how history is being communicated, perceived and reflected upon in schools, in the public and society. We do so by connecting research, teaching and transfer of knowledge in order to attain a better understanding of the cultural impact of history and historical learning.

The annual conference of the History Educators International Research Network will be taking place in Padua this year.

Conference of History Didactics 30.09.-02.10.
The biannual conference of History Didactics will be focussing on the topic of History Didactics and democracy. Especially questions concerning the cultural impact of history and historical learning are going to be discussed in that context.

Conferences of Applied Jewish Studies (CAJES) 16.11.-18.11.
Beginning on the 16th of November and until the 18th the first of three Conferences of Applied Jewish Studies (CAJES) will be taking place. The conference is being organized by the association JEWLIF.
